Collecting Palmo

Palmo come from Palmo World. Palmo World is in the future. Palmo World is somewhere between our world and the digital world. Palmo World is powered by the Loss-Gain World Tendency system. In Palmo World, there are at least 13 known Stages, all containing different Generations of Palmo. Palmo World features biomes such as: forests, tundras, deserts, beaches, mountains, and more. Each Generation of Palmo holds new shapes, blessings, and secrets.

In the year 20XX, Palmo made contact with our world through two children. Palmo sent out a distress signal, fleeing their home due to a cataclysmic event known as the Follying. A creeping entity harvesting their shells caused Palmo to seek off-world relocation–Operation Nearest Neighbour. Palmo severed their body and mind, seeding their souls on the internet and using Earth’s sun to leech their shells. In exchange for asylum, Palmo use their foresight into the future to bless their Host.

Due to the Follying, Palmo World’s current state is unknown...

But Palmo must be collected.

1) Palmo were forced to split their mind and body in two to safely depart Palmo World, knowing they would never be whole again. Their souls were first discovered on the internet and uploaded to the GSsystem–a spirit storage machine on PALMO.WORLD, a site constructed by the Palmo Preservation Society. While these digital souls were saved largely intact, their physical bodies were not. These shells were sent into our atmosphere from an unknown location, undergoing a temporary transformation as microscopic orbs to flee harm. In order for their bodies to be reborn in ceramic, they must first be collected by absorbing Palmo Egg Tickets from solar/lunar rays via special technology like Ⓟ-DISKs.

2) When a Ⓟ-DISK has gathered enough Egg Tickets, it can be read through a Ⓟ-READER before being extracted on a PC running coralOS.

3) Once the Eggs have been successfully extracted, they're then deposited into a Ⓟ-GACHA before being born anew as porcelain pieces with a digital heart. Currently, Palmo come in two Forme: Base or SUPER✶. There is a 1/777 pull rate of encountering a Palmo afflicted with P፨LMUS, a special status effect that makes their Strange Gift* behave in unusual ways.

4) Finally, their bodies are safeguarded by the Palmo Preservation Society to be adopted by loving Hosts like you. Though these ceramic shells are technically empty of soul, they do contain a digital heart, so we encourage Hosts to frequently reconnect their body and mind, however briefly it may be.
